This project involved converting an existing shop in Peristeri into a contemporary loft home designed for Airbnb. The 45 m² space was completely redesigned to create a functional, modern home with a distinctive finish.

A key stage was dividing and reconfiguring the existing space to create a complete two-level home, with a ground floor and mezzanine. The new layout makes the most of the compact footprint, creating a distinctive and functional 45 m² loft.

New electrical and plumbing installations

The electrical and plumbing installations were completely replaced, providing modern infrastructure tailored to the needs of the new home.

Kitchen and bathroom renovation

The kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated using contemporary solutions and carefully selected materials. New floor tiles were installed on the ground floor, while the bathroom walls were finished in hand-applied cement mortar for a distinctive, minimalist and modern look.

Laminate flooring was installed on the mezzanine, adding warmth and a different texture to the sleeping and living area while complementing the loft's contemporary design.

External insulation and new windows

The exterior of the property was also upgraded. External thermal insulation was applied to improve the space's thermal protection, and the existing exterior frames were replaced with new aluminium windows.

Skim coating and painting

The interior surfaces were fully renewed with skim coating and painting, creating clean, even finishes that bring out the loft's modern character.

Contemporary design for Airbnb

The design and materials were selected to create a luxury aesthetic suited to Airbnb guests. Hand-applied cement mortar, laminate, new tiles, contemporary windows and upgraded installations come together in a distinctive, high-quality space.
