Home renovation in the southern suburbs of Athens

IG Constructions has completed renovations across the southern suburbs of Athens: from Palaio Faliro and Nea Smyrni to Glyfada, Voula and Varkiza. We take on full and partial renovations of apartments and homes, as well as properties for short-term rental, with a civil engineer in charge from the site visit to handover.

Our projects in the southern suburbs

What we find in the southern suburbs

• Humidity and salt: near the sea, humidity and salt wear down render, paint, railings and windows faster. Proper waterproofing and durable materials make a big difference. See our home insulation service.
• Balconies and terraces: outdoor flooring, waterproofing and railings are a common part of the renovation.
• Rental properties: many owners in the area renovate for short-term rental, with durable, easy-to-maintain materials, as in our 32 m² project in Glyfada.
• Change of use: where permitted, a ground-floor shop can become a home, as in Argyroupoli.

How we start

One of our engineers visits the property, records its condition and your needs, and prepares a detailed quote broken down by work and material. The schedule and cost are fixed in a private agreement. See also apartment renovation and home renovation.
